People, Nick Mason is on tour---I saw him last week---and you folks
continue to pollute the newsgroup with this publius enigma bullshit.

The name of the group is alt.music.pink-floyd. So discuss the music of
Pink Floyd and related issues and not irrelevant stuff.

What kind of stuff is he doing? I downloaded his solo album from the early 80s a while back but I don't think I've listened to it.

Fictitious Sports? That was really a Carla Bley album to which he lent
his name (though he did play on it). He also was involved in some
soundtracks.

He is out playing with a five-piece band (himself, two guitarists, a
keyboard player, and Guy Pratt on bass (son-in-law of Rick Wright, who
has played with both Waters and the post-Waters Floyd)) playing stuff
from Floyd's first seven albums (which are mostly neglected by Gilmour
and Waters, and also by most Floyd tribute bands).

If you can... Look up Profiles by Mason and Fenn. Has some really cool guitar synth on it.

I've got a copy of that too! I'll make it a point to actually play it sometime this week.

The only substantiated connections it has are to EMI, the band's former management, and members of the TDB tour road crew. So, really, how much does it have to do with Pink Floyd?

What is Pink Floyd, really, anyway?

D Sharpe on Fictitious Sports credits was a coincidence, but PF used that by showing strange games
being played in the video, which was suppose to direct people to Nicks album and then in turn
To my name.
But fans hated me and they still do.

I've got an answer for everything and it can't all be coincidences..
That's why fans don't like me, I know too much. I can't help that.
But I only wanted to share what I knew..
